The Bohemian Mallorca Finca Wedding
The requirements for Laura and Jens's dream wedding in Mallorca were clearly defined:
authentic and cozy, surrounded by friends and family, set amidst nature in a Bohemian style, with an outdoor ceremony, dinner, and party under the summer starlit Mediterranean sky. Laura, a professional event manager known as "the decoration queen" among her colleagues, had high standards, particularly for the decor, which needed to create a homely atmosphere outdoors.
Table Decoration in the Oak Forest
We opted for two long tables that perfectly complemented the oak forest of the Mallorcan finca. Wooden tables, Mediterranean ceramic dishes, and delicate crystal glasses were paired with a variety of decorative vessels filled with wild and natural flowers. We began setting up the dinner area a day before the wedding, hanging lamps and string lights to create a unique atmosphere in the evening. In total, 30 lamps in various designs and shapes were installed.
Catering and Entertainment
Our catering featured "Tapas to share" (very communal and rooted in Spanish lifestyle) and a live BBQ. During the aperitif, a live band performed with saxophone, Spanish guitar, and live vocals. The outdoor ceremony took place in the garden area of the finca, surrounded by palm trees.
Around the bride and groom, we decorated with large and small Boho-style cushions for the children, contributing to a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere.
For Our "Little" Guests
The cushions were later repurposed for the "Kids Table." Our Mallorca nannies took loving care of the children throughout the evening, allowing the parents to enjoy the celebration. The dinner and party areas were located close together, so all guests could enjoy the candlelit ambiance on the dinner tables until the end of the celebration.
